Hey folks, Mike here from Ollie! 👋 Today I’m excited to share some updates about our latest release, Ollie 1.3.0. We’ve been hard at work refining and improving the theme to make it even better for WordPress creators like you.

The biggest change in this release is a refinement of our color system. We’ve updated the color palette names to better reflect how they’re actually used in your designs. Read the newly published doc on this here.

This might seem like a small change, but it makes the whole system more intuitive and easier to work with. Instead of trying to remember what “Primary” or “Secondary” means in different contexts, the new names map directly to their purpose in your design.

Along with the naming updates, we’ve also fine-tuned all of our existing color palettes. Each color has been carefully adjusted to work even better together, and we’ve added a new color slot to give you more flexibility in your designs.

Plus, we’re introducing a sleek new Agency color palette that’ll be the foundation for our upcoming Agency pattern collection (more on that soon!).

For those of you who love to customize your buttons, we’ve added a new style variation specifically for quickly changing button colors across your site. One click, and boom – transformed buttons!

We’ve also been doing some spring cleaning under the hood, simplifying pattern markup where possible to make everything run even smoother. And to help you stay organized while building, we’ve added layer names to patterns, making it easier to identify and work with different sections of your layouts.

As always, you can grab this update from WordPress.org or right from your WordPress dashboard. If you don’t have Ollie yet, you can head to the download page to grab it for free.

Thanks for being part of the Ollie community. If you have any questions about the new color system or anything else, drop by our docs or give us a shout. See you in the next update! 🚀
